Our Story

The Bennington Chamber of Commerce: A Journey of Community and Business Growth

Starting in a small meeting in our locally owned Runza with a few local entrepreneurs, the BCoC was officially formed!  Eventually being established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Bennington Chamber of Commerce has been instrumental in organizing, strengthening, and building the business community in the Bennington, Nebraska area. Through its resources, the Chamber promotes member businesses to the community and serves as a beacon to attract and guide businesses considering Bennington as their home.

The Chamber's mission extends beyond business promotion; it actively engages in community betterment by educating and supporting local businesses, striving to enhance the community for everyone. Events organized by the Chamber bring leaders together and offer community activities, with fundraisers directly benefiting local people and business development.
